1. Who we are

Writing Lab is operated by Sailaubek Group, Individual Entrepreneur(registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan). References to “we,” “us,” or “our” in these Terms refer to Sailaubek Group IE.

2. What Writing Lab is

Writing Lab is an AI-assisted IELTS Writing preparation service. You submit essays; we return automated band-score feedback, sentence-level annotations, vocabulary suggestions, and model rewrites. The service is designed to help you practise — it does not guarantee any specific outcome on a real IELTS examination.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Writing Lab. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at alisher@writinglab.one if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

Submit content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes third-party rights.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our grading models.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute feedback outputs without our written consent.
Use automated tools to submit essays in bulk beyond your plan's stated limits.

6. Payments, refunds, and the improvement guarantee

Plans are billed once at purchase. We do not offer cash refunds or pro-rated refunds for unused time.

Improvement guarantee. If you complete a Standard or Mastery plan and do not achieve the minimum band improvement below, you are entitled to one identical plan extension at no charge:

Standard (1 month) — minimum improvement: +0.5 IELTS Writing bands
Mastery (3 months) — minimum improvement: +1.0 IELTS Writing bands

The guarantee is assessed against your official IELTS Writing sub-band score. To claim it, you must:

Have sat an official IELTS examination during your plan period.
Submit your Test Report Form (TRF) to alisher@writinglab.one within 30 days of receiving your results.
Have an account in good standing (no shared access, no bulk submission via automation).

The Sprint plan (2 weeks) does not include the improvement guarantee. If Writing Lab is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to a fault on our side, we will extend your active plan by the equivalent downtime regardless of plan type.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the essays you submit. By submitting an essay you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it for the purpose of generating feedback. We retain all rights to the Writing Lab platform, feedback templates, and underlying models.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Writing Lab is provided “as is.” We make no warranty that band scores produced by the service will match scores awarded by IELTS examiners. AI-generated feedback is an approximation and should be used as a learning tool, not a definitive assessment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sailaubek Group IE is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Writing Lab, including any impact on your IELTS examination result.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Writing Lab after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Almaty, Kazakhstan.
